Hello, my name is Patricia Johnson. I am a License Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and the founder of BeAtitudes Wellness Center, LLC. I have been counseling for 15 years. I counsel children, adolescents and adults who experience symptoms related to Trauma/PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety that hinder their perspective on life. I am dedicated to helping clients to remove obstacles to living a well-balanced and successful life. My goals for clients include helping them to define and maximize their God given potential, while inspiring them to thrive and not strive through their everyday existence.
Hello all! My name is Kenia Johnson. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and obtained my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University.
As an LPC-Associate, I enjoy working with diverse populations by helping clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and daily life stress to balance and enhance their quality of life through the use of therapeutic treatments and mind-body connections, as well as interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy to improve coping skills. My interest is also in helping adolescence and adults alleviate the impact of digital media on their mental well-being. Growing up in the church, and continuing my spiritual growth, my faith has called me into the counseling profession. By integrating spiritual and religious interventions into the therapeutic process, combined with being an empathetic listener, my goal is to assist clients along their journey to wellness.
I am a native Houstonian who is kind, caring, and patient. I enjoy vacationing with my family, site seeing, and engaging in different cultural experiences at each wonderful destination. I love dogs, and I have an adorable Maltese poodle. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, walking, learning choregraphed dances, and watching movies, anime, or K-Dramas. I am looking forward to working with you!
Hello Everyone! My name is Alicia Snider. I have obtained my master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Houston Baptist University. I would like to use my degree to work in trauma. I think this is one of the best ways to help rehabilitate people. It might help them create a second chance for themselves. Though eventually I would love to get a PhD in clinical psychology. My goal is to one day be able to work in research. The idea of being able to understand why people do things and learn how to modify their behavior is fascinating to me.
I truly love to read action and romance novels. Being with my family in Mexico and going to beach is also extremely relaxing for me. Family is very important to me. Lastly, I would say in recent years I have become intrigued by the fact there is not much research on how therapy affects biracial and multiracial people. As a biracial person, I would love to one day be able to conduct research or simply learn more about the dynamics of biracial families and what therapies most benefit them.
