Supervision Services

Quality supervision is an essential part of an LPC Associate’s professional growth and confidence as a clinician. LPC Associates are required to complete a minimum of 3,000 clinical hours (1,500 direct, 1,500 indirect) over at least 18 months under the guidance of a board-approved LPC Supervisor. 

Supervision services are designed to intentionally support the development of strong clinical skills, ethical decision-making, and professional identity. Training opportunities include collaborative case consultation, mock session role-play to strengthen clinical skills, support with clinical documentation and charting, and peer support through individual (1–2 associates) or group (3+ associates) supervision sessions. 

Supervision will occur weekly, unless otherwise specified, and will be conducted virtually in one-hour sessions for the duration of supervision. 

• Masters degree in counseling through an accredited university along with the completion of all LPC Board required practicum and classes.
• Satisfactory completion of the NCE and jurisprudence exam.
• An application for LPC Licensure, documentation of practicum, and Supervisory Agreement Form sent to the Texas State Board of Examiners.
